Bypass rotameters are the most economical solution for flow measurement in large pipe lines and for large rates of flow. Use is limited to clean service: solid particles and slurries tend to clog the range orifice and may result in malfunctioning.
Also available without main line flanges, where the plant supplies its own.

Orifice plate, carrier rings or flanges, bypass piping, isolation valve, fittings, range orifice and rotameter.
Optional high and low alarms and 4-20 mA output where the reading has to leave the plinth.

Because the range orifice sets the reading, this assembly should not be used on fluids carrying solids or slurry. For those duties ask us about a metal tube rotameter or an electromagnetic flow meter.
