A spring-supported displacer measures buoyancy rather than relying on a free-moving float. That makes it useful when the liquid is moving, foaming or viscous.

A spring-supported displacer measures buoyancy rather than relying on a free-moving float. That makes it useful when the liquid is moving, foaming or viscous.
When the liquid rises the displacer loses weight, causing the spring to retract slightly to a new equilibrium position. This retraction interchanges the position of the magnet provided at the top and actuates the switch. Up to three independent switch junctions are available in a single unit, with a broad choice of operating sequences.
Economical for large vessels, and easily transported.

The instrument can be used for level switching in large tanks up to 15 m, in turbulent liquids and even without steel pipes. The displacer is adjustable at any point.
