Overview
A simple switch for a fixed level
A float moves with the liquid and trips sealed reed switches at fixed heights. It is a simple way to get one or more high/low signals without putting a mechanism into the process.
It consists of a guide pipe made from SS 304 / SS 316, a magnetic float of SS 316 that moves on the tube with rise and fall of level. Hermetically sealed reed switches are housed in the guide pipe. The switches can be fixed at any position throughout the length of the pipe; however, the position should be defined at the time of order as it cannot be changed at site.
Since it works on magnetic principle, there is no mechanical connection and hence the chances of any wear, tear or fluid contamination are eliminated.
Sealed switching
Hermetically sealed reed switches inside the guide pipe, with no mechanical linkage into the process.
Day tank duty
Widely used on diesel and furnace oil day tanks, vending machines, pumping stations and water tanks.
Panel-ready
PC, PLC, DCS and alarm annunciator configurable. Use a relay control unit for high resistive or inductive loads.

Switch positions must be defined at the time of order, as they cannot be changed at site. Optional relay units are available for higher current ratings.
